AAHO Educational Support Program
Our Commitment to Education

The Challenge
Every year, thousands of Afghan students aspire to continue their education abroad. Yet, private consultancy firms charge high fees for admission guidance, scholarship applications, and visa support—costs far beyond the reach of most Afghan families. As a result, opportunities are lost, talent is wasted, and dreams remain unfulfilled.
In addition, research has shown that funding for higher education in Afghanistan has been severely reduced. The Ministry of Higher Education's resources have not been able to meet the needs of hundreds of thousands of students, leaving many without adequate financial or institutional support.
Most tragically, millions of Afghan girls remain banned from secondary schools and higher education—an unforgettable event in history. While the Afghan diaspora continues to watch in pain, the global community has shown limited action in advocating for Afghan girls' right to learn.
This is why AAHO was founded with an altruistic vision and mission: to remove the barriers that stand in the way of Afghan students—especially girls—and to ensure that education remains a right, not a privilege.
